Following some warm up dances on the streets of Derby Sallyport had a long wait watching all the other sides dance before our turn on the stage in the beautiful Guildhall Theatre.

However we did ourselves proud with a creditable performance which was well recieved by the knowledgeable audience, not least due to the Imperial March from Star Wars which accompanied our march on to the stage.

Apparently we were second in the Traditional category - shame there were only 2 teams in it this year! Grenoside won the trad category and Redcar won the Own Dance, wining the overall prize too.

We have a lot of practice in store if we are to get to the high standards set this year.
